LiteStep

Welcome to the home of the LiteStep Development Team (LSDev). LSDev is a team of developers that continue to improve LiteStep, originally created by Francis Gastellu. LiteStep is a replacement shell for the standard Windows® Explorer shell. LiteStep is released under the GNU General Public License Version 2.

The LSDev resources are dedicated to providing an open development environment for any member of the LiteStep community to access and contribute to.

If you are interested in contributing to LiteStep and don't know where to start, please read this page for an overview of the content structure of this website and maybe you'll find an area that you are interested in and can add to. However, if you are more interested in how LiteStep itself works, the best place to get started is with the LiteStep Module Software Development Kit. Maybe you just want to communicate with someone? Then join us in IRC or on the Mailing Lists. Enjoy!
